Dandelion Dog Walks endeavours to guide your dog to becoming more socially aware and accepting by maintaining pack calm, cohesion and inclusion in a safe and fun manner.
Dogs are only accepted on condition of a 'Meet & Greet' to assess their temperament and needs. Only dog friendly dogs will be accepted on our group walks and they must have re-call to be allowed off-leash.
Living in a modern human world has rules, sounds and stimuli that aren’t easy for dogs to cope with. We take the time to introduce dogs to new experiences, amongst a calm pack environment, to help them cope with these, while encouraging calm, impulse control and trust bonds.
Nothing on this planet is as happy as a dog doing zoomies off leash.
Although the walks themselves are initially leashed, we allow significant off leash play, when and where appropriate, in managed secure situations.
We provide stimulation, taking your pet places he may not usually go, with a pack of friends surrounding them for fun.
We reinforce good behaviour with exercise and adventures.
We mainly accept dogs from Gatley, Heald Green, Wilmslow, Handforth, Alderley Edge & Cheadle areas.
Dog are walked in woods, fields and parks in Gatley, Cheadle, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge where they have plently of space to run and play.
Dandelion Dog Walks is based on a simple principle: exercised dogs are happier, healthier and mentally switched on.
We aim to provde a first class service to both dog and owner, ensuring your dog is well exercised, safe, calm and happy whilst in our care.
We pick up your dog from your home, walk the dog with the group for no less than one hour and return them to the pick-up point.
Dogs are transported safely in spacious crates in an air-conditioned Citroen Berlingo and are returned, washed and cleaned, to a specified area of your house.
We then ensure that they are watered and comfortable before leaving them alone.
